Securing the critical infrastructure, communication and data is becoming increasingly important in the digital and connected world. Therefore, with the first cyber security delegation to Israel, GINSUM would like to offer German companies an insight into one of the most progressive countries in the field of cyber security.
Cyber security is one of the most relevant topics of our time. Recent events, such as the pandemic and Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine, have shown that cyber vulnerability poses an immense threat to our critical infrastructure. Increasing nervousness among authorities and companies alike makes the need for action clear. Cyber security can only work if the economy and the state work together, and medium-sized companies must also be more strongly represented in the committees and working groups of the BSI.
Israel is considered the center of the global cyber security ecosystem. With the help of well-financed startups in the cyber sector, the most advanced developments are achieved and cooperation between research, business and the state is successfully linked. In order to be able to achieve such progress in Germany as well, cooperation with Israel is beneficial and desirable. Israel is showing how a sensible approach to expanding new cyber security technologies to protect communication and thus critical infrastructure can work. As part of the GINSUM Cyber Security Delegation, exchanges with high-ranking players in the cyber security industry such as the Israel National Cyber Directorate or Easysec Solutions as well as Cyberint and others take place in order to get to know the Israeli cyber security ecosystem better. The delegation will also participate in the CyberTech Global conference, one of the biggest gatherings in the cyber tech industry.
