Foreign trade days 2021 – How attractive is Germany for foreign startups?
There is quite a number of foreign startup founders setting up their businesses in Germany, benefiting from the different German support mechanisms by various players to ensure a soft landing. However, in practice the landing isn’t always that soft. To find out how we can make it better we’ll meet foreign founders that have set up their businesses in Germany and hear what (didn’t) work for them. The session is organised by GINSEP (German Indian Startup Exchange Program) and GINSUM (German Israeli Network of Startups and Mittelstand).

COVID-19, digitization, climate change and global competition are just some of the questions that German foreign trade is confronted with. How can politics effectively support companies in this international area of conflict?
